Matchstar’s business model was designed to “de-risk” the search process for VC firms and their portfolio companies. Please reference “Private and Microcap Company Services” on our homepage for more details.  We have built a scalable recruiting model that enables us to provide an extreme level of service, low fees, “payment for performance,” speed (presentation of candidates that meet absolute requirements within 7-10 days), and domain expertise. Our goal is to reduce the time, cost, and hassle of finding key future contributors while providing a higher level of service than most branded national retained search firms.

MatchStar also provides introductions to Venture Capital firms for companies in the process of raising additional capital. Our 80+ Venture Capital relationships have asked us to refer new investment opportunities to them based on their individual investment criteria. Any transactional fees collected by Matchstar can be used as credits for future hires.

We have helped a number of companies raise tens of millions in early stage venture money over the past few years. Our primary goal in providing this service is to help our clients get the funding to meet their next growth milestone. Building out management teams is a critical success factor for early stage firms, and helping companies get funding creates new jobs for everyone!
